On which side to you think you fit  the best ? Bounderby's or Stephen's?

  1. Personally, I would fit best on Stephen's side. Stephen in my eyes, had so much courage and dignity in this situation. Even when the commanding Bounderby is hounding him, he keeps cool and does not give in, "He spoke with the rugged earnestness of his place and character....but he fully remembered where he was, and did not even raise his voice"(Dickens, 146). Bounderby thinks he has all the authority in the town and is arrogantly self. Stephen does not let the fear of Bounderby alarm him. Even though he knows that his choice not to answer presents with with many consequences, he proceeds to be a righteous man.
